Happy 2024 and welcome to tax season 2023.

We’re back on our tax season hours, in the office five days a week and starting in February, on Saturdays too.

2024 Bottom Line Newsletter

 

IMPORTANT FOR BUSINESS OWNERS: With the enactment of the Corporate Transparency Act, most businesses will have to file a Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR). Businesses created in 2024 have 90 days to file the report. Established businesses have until the end of 2024 to file. This is a one-time filing unless there are changes in your business. You have 30 days to file any updates for your business. Our fee to file the report or make updates on your behalf is $300

Your privacy is important to us and your financial security is a priority. For this reason, we do not release or disclose any information or copies to anyone other than you, our client. This includes your parents, your children, and your bank. If you need copies of your returns or other tax documents given to anyone, you must personally request and obtain these items from our office and forward them onto the relevant parties. (And please be aware there is a fee for copies, digital or hard copy.) We cannot give any documents or sensitive information to anyone other than you. We’re not trying to make your life difficult, just trying to protect you from risk.
