Who We Are
The Bottom Line is a year-round accounting and bookkeeping firm for individuals and small businesses. Wally leads workshops on how to start a business, entity selection, taxation and business growth in addition to personal and small business coaching.
Our office is in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. We are 90% paperless, web based and conduct and prepare many tax returns from all over the United States. We use a secure client portal, telephone, skype and zoom appointments.
Staff Profiles
Walter W. Moyer
President
Walter “Wally” Moyer has over 30 years’ experience in tax accounting, mortgages, and financial consulting for individuals and small businesses. It has always been his pledge to provide excellent, personalized services for every single client. Even though he has many years of tax preparation he continues to receive more CEUs in tax, tax updates, tax law and tax ethics than is required to maintain his standing with the IRS and PTIN requirements. He is always learning and brings this education to better serve his clients.
Wally has owned and operated his own tax accounting firm since 1987. Received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LaSalle University. He has developed many long-standing relationships with other small business owners and continues to cultivate contacts in the local community. He uses his acumen for finances to support his clients and their businesses, enabling them to prosper and grow. He has taught and continues to teach Tax, Accounting, Bookkeeping and multiple small business courses.
Wally is also an ordained minister and has worked in the mental health field. This skills and interest make him better able to consult and coach business owners. He continues to mentor young men in his community, spend time with family and enjoys renovating houses with his wife Susan.
Carolyn West
Office Manager
Carolyn joined The Bottom Line Inc. staff in 2010.
She runs the day to day operations of the office and is the person you want to contact when scheduling an appointment or need urgent response. Carolyn also continues her own education each year with at least 18 CEU in tax, tax updates, tax law and tax ethics. She is a valuable part of The Bottom Line Inc. team.
Carolyn is a self-published author and when she isn’t in the office she is probably writing.
